Navitel R980 4K is a modern and stylish dash cam, equipped with a SONY IMX 415 sensor that allows you to record your journeys in 4K (3840x2160 @ 30 frames per second). Ultra HD resolution allows clear recordings of road signs, road markings, number plates, as well as capturing smaller details like surface bumps. The R980 4K comes with a quick release magnetic mount, allowing you to remove the device from your vehicle whilst leaving the mount attached to the windscreen.
Navitel R980 4K is equipped with a 7-layer glass lens with a built-in IR filter, allowing the R980 4K to ensure high quality footage, even in poor lighting conditions, while the 140° field of view captures a wide view of the road ahead of your vehicle, as well as parked cars on the roadside, and pedestrians on pathways.
The bright, high-resolution, 3-inch IPS display is easy to read from any angle. The display shows all of the necessary information to keep you driving safely on the roads. Thanks to the built-in GPS antenna, the R980 4K receives information about more than 60 types of speed cameras, mobile cameras, dedicated lanes for public transport, and other potential hazards. You will be alerted visually, and with a beep before reaching any of these, allowing you to plan ahead, and avoid any unnecessary fines. The display will also show your current speed, and the distance to the nearest traffic restriction.
A supercapacitor replaces a standard battery, allowing the Navitel R980 4K to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations. The supercapacitor is heat-resistant and eliminates the chance of losing files due to a sudden power outage. This Navitel dash cam also has a built-in adjustable shock sensor that protects clips made in emergency situations. In the event of sudden maneuvers or impact, the G-sensor will trigger and save the current file into a secure folder that cannot be overwritten.
Thanks to a built-in Wi-Fi module, Navitel R980 4K can be controlled remotely via the Navitel DVR Centre app. This means you can view videos and images in the app, as well as updating settings. The Navitel DVR Centre app is available for IOS and Android.
